In other news, people can hunt hogs from helicopters! I didn't know very much about Perry until quite recently, but, judging from the shrieking and poo flinging that erupts from the left side of the peanut gallery every time his name is mentioned, he must be doing something right.
Hog hunting from choppers Aside from Ahnold quotes, this seems to be a good thing. They've got an issue with wild hogs destroying local flora and fauna and have found a way to profitize the solution. Hard to see how this is bad.
pole tax Money to fund stopping sexual harassment? This is bad how, exactly?
85mph Texas has miles and miles of empty miles and miles. I've drive a decent amount of them and they're doing it with safety checks. Another good thing.
Sonogram bill I do disagree with this one. If it's legal, why are there hoops to jump through? If it's not legal (or could be legitimately challenged in court) work to stop abortions that way, not through stuff like this.

voter ID While there's always a concern with disenfranchising people, assuming there's not an incredibly onerous process to obtain and ID, this shouldn't be a problem. In all honesty, both sides of the fence use voter fraud to support their candidates, so this hurts both of them.
handgun fast lane Why not? They've already passed checks to get the CCW and had to show their license. These aren't the folks to worry about.
