~ Because It's Only a Potato Earth / Sitting Under a Geoid Sky ~

Yeah, I guess when you exaggerate the Earth's gravitational field in a photo, it does sorta look like a potato. Personally, I'm wondering just why the variations are where they are.

What does make the grav field bulge in those locations? Very curious. Also, I think GOCE has got to be the coolest looking satellite up there.
