The NFL is considering putting chips in its footballs to make certain types of calls more accurate. Great. Another thing for truFans to argue about at the bar.
Depends on where the put them. If they just put them in the tips of the ball, that could be problematic if the ball is sideways.
However, done correctly (both tips and at 4 cardinal points around the widest part of the circumference and properly calibrated the external sensors, it's hard to see how it could be a bad thing in any stadium but one where Belicheat is the coach.
