Who the hell is going to pay them after the Rapture? I mean, no pet sitter in their right mind gets paid $110 for long term watching of a pet.
Our service is plain and simple; our fee structure is reasonable. For $110.00 we will guarantee that should the Rapture occur within ten (10) years of receipt of payment, one pet per residence will be saved. Each additional pet at your residence will be saved for an additional $15.00 fee. A small price to pay for your peace of mind and the health and safety of your four legged friends.
It's the next best thing to pet salvation to a post Rapture world.
Ellen,
To answer your question: no one is paying after the Rapture. The up front fee is for rescue recovery costs only. The care of the animals will be provided by the pet rescuers as members of their own family.
The rescuers know this and because of their love of pets are committed to it.
Regards,
Bart

LOL WUT?
How is this not a scam? Collecting money for services that won't be rendered and using someone who doesn't even believe the event you're collecting money for as your labor source?
I see a laughing pear in my mind when I read this.
Posted by: Ron ap Rhys on August 21, 2009 08:11 PMI'm not sure what's worse, here: That someone would scam old religious people, or that these old religious people would actually believe that paying money to an earthly, private concern would affect God's will one iota.
Like the Man said; it's easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to buy his way into heaven. (Or, rather, his cat's way.)
If nothing else, religious doctrine should establish that beasts are innocent of the Original Sin, and therefore they get to go to heaven no matter what.
Posted by: DensityDuck on August 22, 2009 01:55 AMFool and his money, you know. If they're dumb enough to pay for it, that's their issue. That doesn't mean that I'll stop calling a spade a spade.
Then again, IIRC, when the Rapture occurs there's only about 7 years left and none of it's going to be good. One could make the argument that allowing the pets to live through that would be more cruel than not.
However, I also believe that in order to get into Heaven one is required to have a soul. I don't believe the Bible grants souls to the animals. Don't jump all over me for the message - I happen to have different beliefs that allow for spirits to live on.
It's a scam all around. No different than any other scam perpetrated upon the weak-minded. Kind of like Scientology.
