Fiit Update
Fans of Wii fitness should find all these recently announced expansions of interest. The opportunities scanning one's body into the Wii for Ron to embarrass Amber may just be enough to tip them over to purchase one.
NOTE TO SELF:
If ever at Ron & Amber's and Ron starts setting up the Wii system, decline. Politely. Immediately.
Trust me, we own no Wii system.
Posted by: Ron ap Rhys on June 3, 2009 03:40 PMThere's a new Punch-Out! sequel for the Wii, a retro throwback to the original Nintendo game (they learned their lesson with celebrity boxer endorsements, though; the "dream match" is now against Donkey Kong). What amazes me is how incredibly well it works in 3-d polygons. Every single boxer has an incredible amount of personality. Glass Joe, after losing his 100th match and unlocking the "headgear" (aka TardHelm), struts proudly into the ring wearing it in all his future fights, completely unaware of how silly it looks. Fighting Aran Ryan (from Super Punch Out) is now like fighting an Irish Tyler Durden on crack. And Super Macho Man's occasional reaction to when you dodge his "Release the wave!" punch, "Release the- BOGUS!" has already become a YouTube meme.
