No point running around with a 17 STR and a 12 CON!
Posted by: mark on May 30, 2009 07:56 AMActually, I think all guys are interested in gear. I absolutely need to have several different 1/2" rachets ranging from a very long breaker bar, a torque wrench, a few different lengths (stubby and up), one with a swivel head, etc. The same with wrenches - have to have all different types.
In fact, the entire accessory market is predicated on the fact that men can't just settle for having the main item - we need all the stuff that makes our set-up better than anyone else's.
Posted by: Ron ap Rhys on May 30, 2009 09:34 AMThe right tool is what turns a 2-day cuss fest that breaks 3 other things into a 2 hour repair that has you free to drink beer before noon. More than once I've paid $50 plus for a one-job tool because my time and frustration is worth way more than that.
And you will take my flex head ratchets from my cold, dead hands...

My tool collection is slowly expanding. Just wait until I post some pics of the work bench and gardening benches I've built. They're begging me to buy more tools...
