They had Me at "Nympho"

Well, why shouldn't there be Christian nymphos. Far as I can remember, the Bible is pretty much silent on what can and can't happen between two married, consenting adults. Of course, what I know about the Bible could probably fit in a thimble, so if anyone knows better fire away.

I believe the actual verse is that the marriage bed is sacred, meaning that pretty much everything goes. However, there's some dood in the OT that used the pull and pray method and was struck down. This gives rise to the whole procreation group (that and the be fruitful and multiply), so YMMV depending on which sect you belong to.

And then there's the Song of Solomon which is fairly erotic (by Biblical standards).

On the overall, it's pretty confusing and contradictory.

What Ron says. But I think the basic gist...do what you want but keep it at home...generally applies.

Note that what Ron says...that the guy was struck down because they did pull-and-pray isn't why he was zapped.

It was because the dude didn't do his duty toward his sister-in-law (i.e., knock her up) after his brother died without issue.

Lots of kids being the equivalent of Social Security back in those days, 3000 years ago.

Yeah - but they told me that it was a warning that if I was "flogging the bishop" or "clearing the snorkel" or "tossing off" or "spanking the monkey" or "punching the clown" that I'd be struck down.

But apparently only if I shot it into sand, IIRC.

"throttling the flesh-weasel", "polishing the torpedo", etc., etc., etc.

Well since you haven't (yet) been struck down...or me either for that matter...I guess we're safe.

For now anyway. :-)
