Go for the description, stay for the picture:
This is the amazing scene of a burglar hanging upside down that greeted home owner Paul Ives when he returned home from work.
Since it happened in the UK, I'm surprised they didn't arrest the homeowner for something like "failure to ensure burglar could enter home safely" or some such nonsense.
Wait, it took the cops OVER AN HOUR to get there and deal with the guy? Or didn't anyone bother to call them until the homeowner returned home?
Good grief, if someone broke into my house and got stuck doing it, I'd hope my neighbors would bother to call the cops on them even if I weren't home

As Scott stated, it's actually amazing that the homeowner isn't being charged with:
-unlawful imprisonment
-maintaining an unsafe residence
-not properly turning over his goods to the burglar.
-owning a dangerous instrument (a window and his butter knife. Actual steak knives are prohibited as someone might get hurt).
As it stands, I expect he'll have to pay for any medical expenses incurred.
