Three words: Farming with Dynamite. Does the real chance of dying from some weird disease that today would only require a shot balance out with having high explosives available for purchase at the corner hardware store? I'm just not sure...
Yes - because things that go boom are lots of fun. The bigger the boom, the bigger the fun. Especially if there's something other than dirt and rocks getting blown all to shit.
Maybe something like a TransAm. With an upright piano on its hood. Load both with dynamite, make sure the gas tank is full. Then light the fuse from a relatively safe distance.
