ELSE OR THIS

Ron gets the coveted Mountain Goat No-Prize for bringing us news of the ELSORV, the army's for real off road vehicle. Considering the Humvee's reputation for best-of-class off roading, I can only think this thing must be able to climb trees or something. Just how nasty are those freaking Afghan mountains?!?

Probably not, unless one's getting buck-slutty with the speed and turning. The things meant to be a rock crawler and it probably does incredibly well at that.

Plus, with that armor and properly stowed cargo and gear, if it rolled, they just jump out and push it back over. Kind of like those crazy rock crawlers on the civilian side.
