It's somewhat similar to the order of magnitude issues that are faced by gun control advocates. Last time I really ran the figures, somewhere in the neighborhood of 99.99% or more of the firearm-owning population never uses their firearm criminally. The number drops even further for violent crimes (as the failure to register, illegal carrying, etc., stuff is removed).
