Alternate title: Junk, meet gate pole; gate pole, junk. I'm not completely sure it's real, it seems a bit too good to be true. I do know, however, that downhill skiers can top 60 mph, so one hopes a cup was part of his equipment. As it were.
OMG, that one made my eyes water...
But unless he had a cup on--and I hope for his sake he did--I think as soon as pole met junk, he'd be down in the snow, clutching his crotch and trying desperately to draw a breath for the next five or ten minutes...

I couldn't, but I did notice that it seemed more like he took an extremely solid hit to the general groin area rather than a direct hit to the junk. Getting my inner thighs smacked around by a metal pole coming at me ~ 50 mph seems plenty painful enough to cause the reaction filmed.

Posted by: Mark on March 7, 2008 03:36 PMI think the sounds might've been dubbed in, but aside from that it looks fairly realistic.
And that it might suck to have happen. But what do I know - I come home bruised and cut from soccer. Every week.
