A Vending Machine, for... Dude... What?
Surprisingly, this vending machine is not available in Japan. You can get beer and used panties on streetcorners in Tokyo, but you have to come to LA to get your pot fix from an armored soda dispenser.
A new one on me...
One of the things I like about Germany (no shit, Sherlock)...and there are many...is that they have beer vending machines there. Even in the little town of Oberstaufen (near the Swiss and Austrian borders) had one in the hotel lobby.
Prompting me to exclaim a phrase I usually reserve for something cool in America:
Is this a great country OR WHAT!!!
Beer was 5 DM (about $3 at the time) out of the machine. You could also get a cold draft beer at the local McDonalds. There is was only 4 DM, whereas a large coke was 5 DM!
But I digress...
