So you tell me, did we fake that whole "When Mooji Boats Attack" incident or not? I didn't doubt for a second everyone's favorite Persian Pranksters were spoiling for a fight. Now I know they also have no trouble lying about it.
Then again, considering how schizophrenic Iran's government is, I wouldn't put it past them to have the mullahs pull something like this without telling anyone else. Personally, I don't care. A few rounds from the ol' M2 should stop hajji in his tracks next time around.
If we put rounds in hajji, even if he's aiming a speedboat full of dynamite at Naomi Campbell's Greenpeace yacht, then we'll be branded war criminals.
If we don't put rounds in hajji, then we willingly participated in a conspiracy to murder US citizens, because hajji couldn't have hurt anyone unless we were giving him assistance.
There really are a lot of people who not only engage in this sort of hypocrisy, but are actually proud of their ability to demonize anyone they want, by declaring anyone else's actions or lack thereof as "war crimes." In an earlier age, they probably would have been slum lords or slave traders; today, they're respected paralegal representatives of the international community.
