The American tour of Walking with Dinosaurs - the Live Experience is starting this month! 6 dates in our area, and they've got many stops on the tour all over the US and Canada. Amex card holders can purchase tickets now, general sale is next week. Woot!
At a minimum ticket price of $138 for the Verizon Center, I think I'll pass.
Sheesh!!
Posted by: Mark on July 18, 2007 01:08 PMThe ticket price is probably to cover liability insurance. I saw articles a while back about a class-action lawsuit filed against this same tour by families who accused them of false advertising for not having any actual, live dinosaurs, just animatronic imitations. Best quote was from one of the organizers: "We were worried that some children might be frightened by some of the exhibits, but we never dreamed there might be parents that didn't realize dinosaurs are extinct."
