This morning Fark, amazingly, had a whole passel of links worthy of attention:

• You can now have your very own Charlie Brown Christmas tree. The irony of turning the very symbol of anti-commercial Christmastime into something you can buy was not lost on the author.
• Ever wonder what happened to all those dolls used to make Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer? Thanks to the magic of DVD, I've watched this show more times in the past week than I did my whole life. I think my nose is going to start to glow.
• As a sort of reaction against these treacly Christmas treats, there's also a trailer out for the upcoming movie 300. I've seen too many extremely pretty historical action melodramas get bogged down in their own self-indulgent hype to get too excited, but it certainly does look interesting.
