As long as they don't try to stick with Denzel Washington as Master Chief. For some reason it was once being thrown around as a possibility I think. He doesn't have the voice or the physical-ness to play the part. Yeah I know, I'm a nerd.

Then again, that's what they said about Michael Keaton and Batman, that seemed to turn out well enough. For me, it would be far worse to cast the perfect person in a dumb movie.

Hugh Jackman? Aside from the nonsense with Meg Ryan he seems to do anti-social and killer well. But don't use Vin Diesel, the Rock, or someone like that. No cheesey stars. Needs to be intelligent, powerful, and completely dedicated.

Well, I never doubted Keaton since he is good at playing a messed up character. I agree with Ron that Diesel, the Rock, etc would also be bad. My inner geek would prefer a Vader-like production for MC. Have someone be the guy in the suit while Steve Downes does the voice. Oh and Jen Taylor would have to be Cortana's voice, of course.

I always thought there'd be no actual face for him, no? More just a voice - and sure, using the original game voices is cool by me.

Going from there, I'm wondering about the supporting cast. Who plays the Marine's Sgt? If Louis Gossett was still healthy, he'd be a great fit. Also, how about the sniper from the horrible Clancy movie with DaFoe? He'd be great as a soldier supporting the MC. I could likely dig up some others, but that's where I'd think the discussion should go.

The guy's name is Raymond Cruz (IMDB if you'd like) He plays soldiers in many movies and would likely be perfect for that one soldier who lives.
