The company that sped up pulls of draft beer at sports stadiums around the country with its Turbo Tap nozzle is bringing the technology to rec rooms across America.Laminar Technologies LLC has outfitted six sports arenas including U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago and some 30 Chicago bars, receiving fawning media coverage. Time magazine lists the gadget as one of the coolest inventions of 2005 in an issue that hits newsstands Monday.
I'd be next in line, except Ellen seems to be under the impression that refridgerators should be used to store food and not giant kegs of beer. People and their priorities, I tell ya...
fah - as if you need anything but your alcohol of choice, cheese, M&M's, and milk in your fridge, something's wrong. Steak and bread should be purchased the same day you make them, so no need for the fridge there.
Are there other meals that don't include these ingredients?
But, that aside, there's space in your place where you could get a properly-sized fridge that we can run a tap through and keep kegs in. Piece of cake. Just let Ellen put kitty stuff on it and you should be okay. Or snake stuff. Or crab stuff. Or O stuff*?
*though there might be something wrong about putting little kid stuff on top of the keg. Sure, our fathers sent us on beer runs and the like and we turned out okay. Didn't we?
