Well, if it's not a hideous case of sunburn, I'd guess that it turned pink for the same reason this cat turned blue... because it got in paint, then licked its fur as clean as it could get it (and probably spread it over the rest of its body in the process).

Posted by: ronaprhys on September 7, 2005 09:25 AMI had a long-hired white cat for 16 years, who loved to go outside. On a few occasions, he came home covered with orange spots. Eventually I figured it out--they came from the orange tiger lilies that grew all over our neighborhood. He would stick his head in the blooms (or brush by them) and get covered with orange spots. They really stained, too (him, our clothes, the sofa). Eventually, it would wear off the cat. Hope this helps...
