For general reference: a nice bike saddle (seat) for "normal" people will run you ~ $30. A nice bike saddle for loons like me would be ~ $100. Then, then you have something like this. Keep in mind the cushions are optional. Otherwise you're sitting on bare carbon fiber.
For $360... well, let's just say it better do a whole lot more for me than just hold my butt off the back wheel.
I am taking bets if you can go for a whole day without mentioning or putting up a link about your obsession. Then I remember when, every Monday morning after working all weekend, I would go on a Beanie Quest. Now I have them vacuumed packed in a storage building and think "what on earth was I thinking"! My Beanie Babies were a lot cheaper but I spent about the same amount on a whole bunch of them. Now we don't mention my jewelry - it doesn't depreciate. lol

Oh you have no idea man. Swear to god I didn't do it on purpose, but I now have a black-and-gold bike, black-and-gold shoes, and black-and-gold shorts & jersey. We just picked up a well-used bike trailer off freecycle that needs a bit of work. I'm figuring what the hell, will probably paint it black and gold too.
Then we'll be twinkie and twinkie junior.
Posted by: scott on August 14, 2005 02:41 PMYou loose the bet - it has not been 24 hours since you mentioned your obsession.I am quite sure you will find a way to spend money on it.
