Guess what got purchased today!?! Hopefully we will have pixes either by the end of the week or next week when it arrives.
Grandmas take note. There is a special sheet with which to cover your fear.
I don't care what is on the sheet. I know what is under it!!!!!Mom
Posted by: Mom on July 19, 2005 03:23 AMSuzanne, I couldn't agree with you more. I don't care if that critter is tiny or full grown, what color it is, where the aquarium is placed, or any sheets with cats on them. I am absolutely terrified of snakes.
Posted by: Pat on July 19, 2005 04:59 AMwhen can we feed goblin to it?
Posted by: richie on July 19, 2005 09:26 AMEllen, you have handled snakes before, as a vet, right? I would assume so, but I haven't seen any mention of it on the site...
Yepper. I used to care for the Burmese Python at school when I worked with the primates. :) And when I did mixed practice we had a few snakes come in the door.
Posted by: Ellen on July 19, 2005 06:36 PMeh - snakes aren't that big of a deal. For the most part, you can hold them (assuming they're used to the behavior) without any real fear.
Of course, if you've a 37ft snake in your basement and you haven't fed it in awhile, you might want to push the goat down the steps rather than pull it down...
