The Third United State Infantry Regiment "The Old Guard" are the soldiers who guard the Tome of the Unknown Soldiers and are the Honor Guards at every funeral in Arlington. They all place all the individual flags at every grave for Memorial Day. I believe the number of graves at the cemetery is 288,000.
