There are two reports of houses being damaged by plucked chickens crashing through their roofs in Newcastle in the New South Wales Hunter Valley.

I bet there was tornado (cyclone in those parts, I believe) nearby. Our local weatherman has some stories like that following tornados. One involved frogs falling from the sky. Apparently a tornado hit a local pond, picked up a trailer-load of frogs, and then started dumping them on the local highway when the tornado weakened. The result? Massive chain-reaction car accidents caused by frogs hitting the cars, and cars sliding on the smushed frogs which hit the road.
