Oscar died during then night. We knew he wasn't feeling well the past few weeks and nothing we did seemed to help.
So I have him in the freezer right now in several baggies and when I get home tonight I'll bury him in my front garden. :(
I am sooo sorry about Oscar!!!

Posted by: carrie on August 18, 2004 12:00 PMYeah - even though he hated everyone and everything, it won't feel right going into the kitchen and not seeing him stare at you while mouthing the words "die die die"...
Posted by: ron on August 18, 2004 02:04 PMHey Laurence,
Remind me to send you my aunt's recipe for Shiner Bock Beer-Braised Cat, for when Edloe finally kicks it.
I am so sorry to hear that Oscar died. I just became the owner of an 8" Albino tiger. He is of course the center of attention. I do hope that you get another Oscar as they are habit forming. I have enjoyed your antics with Oscar and will miss them.
Posted by: Billie on August 19, 2004 09:23 PMBye Oscar
I suggest a rock garden of sorts (he'd just kill the rose, rocks he'd move around).
