That's the chilling news from E.T. expert Dr. Terry Johnson, who claims various conglomerations of alien races are conspiring to destroy planet Earth on that day -- with the help of a few volcanoes and earthquakes.
Well, at least we won't have to sit through the damned election.
Every time I see one of these things, I'm reminded of a sign on my high school band director's door:
I am part of the ABB crowd, except for Nader of course. If the world is going to end 9/29 it still means we will have to listen to and watch all the nonsense on Fox, CNN and all the other cable channels as well as network news.
Posted by: Pat on July 20, 2004 06:03 PMI always thought the world would end with bagpipes and accordions. Just me, I guess.
Posted by: Fred Boness on July 20, 2004 07:20 PMoooo.. now I have to go make a tinfoil hat!
Posted by: ellen on July 20, 2004 07:36 PMActually, the world can't end that soon. Trust me - I live with a woman intent on having a wedding. She's not going to let some small inconveniences like earthquakes, alien invaders, or sabertoothed rabbits stop it...
Posted by: ron on July 20, 2004 07:37 PMThat's odd. The asteroid Toutatis, 4.5 Km long, 2 Km wide by 1.9 Km high is due to go by at 4 lunar distances as predicted five years ago. I've been waiting! Hope they were right.
Posted by: Timmy on July 20, 2004 10:13 PMWell, the asteroid must just be a disguised alien spaceship then! What if they change course? =)
