heh, dunno where i found these, but here ya go:
Yesterday it worked
Today it is not working
Windows is like that.
Windows XP crashed.
I am the Blue Screen of Death.
No one hears your screams.
Three things are certain:
Death, taxes, and lost data.
Guess which has occurred.
Printer not ready
Could be a fatal error.
Have a pen handy?
Errors have occurred.
We won't tell you where or why.
Lazy programmers.
Only computer people would understand all that and find them funny.
Thanks for the laugh.
As one whose faced the BSOD on several occasions, I can find humor in these - however, are they just little haiku's or would it be possible to change the error msgs text in the pop-ups to show these sorts of msgs?
Posted by: Ron on June 5, 2004 08:05 AMYep, I got the BSOD during the First Week of owning our Brand New DELL computer. Was my hubby happy? Not on your life, but he's a sys admin who can fix almost anything I can break (except my heart), and Dell was most accomodating. Yep, I am REALLY GOOD at breaking things; don't know why, but Murphy's Law always kicks in when Computer & I interface. At the moment am jousting with Microsoft over a Word document problem, but I suspect Word will have the last...word!
