What I Learned Today

  1. Frozen pizzas come with a cardboard circle to help stiffen the bottom.
  2. Cardboard smells like burned popcorn when it sits against a pizza stone in your oven for 20 minutes.
  3. This does not affect the taste of the crust.

And people say I can't cook...

Ha! No more comments on where I store old pizza boxes please. I thought you learned to check the oven after that experience.

Loved Scotts story. I ended up with the looniest cats in the world, I let Merlin out one day, he gave a psychopathic look at the old Portuguese lady doing her gardening next door and I guessed what he was up to. My Jewish flatmate (owner of him) confirmed that she saw him out one day and he did exactly the same - she was stuck to the spot and told me that he did exactly what I thought he'd do - i.e. rush up to her and stick his claws in her arse. I've got to meet my friend in a minute so I can't elaborate but I'll tell you more stories about Merlin, Wigtail, Felix and the crap cat Mitsi next time. Luv Dave
