Little Lost Dog
Looks like the Beagle probe didn't make it after all. Which sucks rusty-red Martian rocks if you ask me. However, NASA's two probes seem to be on schedule, with the first touch-down this Saturday. We hope.
Hmm. Has there been a successful landing on Mars since Sojourner? Even that didn't remain functioning as long as NASA hoped. I wonder if there might actually be something on Mars that we've managed to poke awake with our probes, and is now actively defending itself from any further ones.
