Marlins win.
Yankees win.
Baseball as usual wins. So much for an interesting World Series. Wake me up when next season starts. *snore*
All I can say is "Do you believe in curses?" I bet the Cubs and Red Sox do. HAHA. Let's go Yankees!!
Posted by: Richie on October 17, 2003 03:32 PMWhy bother with a World Series anymore?
They'd have to "pay" me to watch it (like they pay others to umpire it).
At least I can honestly say that I'm an Orioles fan, always have been and always will be. I back my team no matter how good or bad we are. How many others can say that, certainly not Marlin fans.
Posted by: Cindy on October 18, 2003 11:53 PMI know I stick with my teams no matter how bad they do. I've stuck with the Buffalo Bills after 4 straight super bowl losses, and the Knicks, well that should say enough.
Posted by: richie on October 19, 2003 06:16 PM6-1 last night. Could this be the beginning of the end for Florida? Pettite is unstoppable after a Yankee loss, and Matsui is just "Godzilla".
Posted by: richie on October 20, 2003 11:25 AM6-1 again. 2-1 Yankees.
Posted by: richie on October 22, 2003 05:18 AMso we lost one. what did you expect when Weaver came in to pitch. Oh well. now we can win it all at home.
Posted by: richie on October 23, 2003 05:17 AMOh shit. I hope I didn't speask to soon.
Posted by: richie on October 24, 2003 05:08 AMOh well, the Yankees lost the World Series. I'm not goin to be bitter. It's good for baseball the Marlins won. It shows you don't need a $100 Million payroll to win. Hopefully the commissioner will see that too and rethink closing the 4 teams he wants too. Also it was nice to see Pudge finally win. He's the best catchers in the game today, and one of the best ever. He deserves it.
