So sorry O is having problems teething! The poor little thing. My mom used to rub bourbon on our gums to help... not sure that is "PC" anymore, but I lived through it. :)

Baby Orajel, teething rings, freeze a wet wash cloth and let her chew on it. There must be a lot of new things since Scott was a baby. lol

Let's hope her first teeth don't take as long to come in as her cousin's first teeth (seemed like months)!

We finished the teething stage with children several years ago. Last weekend I was making some adjustments to the leaf expansion mechanism on the dining room table. While sitting on the floor under the table I noticed that the cross bar on the center leg assembly had several sets of teeth marks on it. I guess that answered why my now 11 year old kept crawling under the table while she was teething. I don't know if she liked the taste of the walnut wood over the chew rings and frozen washcloths or what.

Fortunately I had finished base of the table with several coats of an oil finish that after several years curing, and in the small amounts possibly ingested would not be harmful. Now if she was chewing on the varnished top, that may have been a problem. Not good planning on my part, just dumb luck.
