Scott'n Ellen, saw your wedding pix, and you both look happy, may you actually *be* even happier than you look! (married guy, father of one awesome daughter here, so I'm NOT merely mouthing things I have no knowledge of. :)) From a comment dropped in your blog, I'm not sure how you'll respond to a sincere best wishes from a Christian, so I'll just say you have my best wishes, and hope you don't *somehow* find a way to take offense.. :)))
My surfing the blogs has brought me to your little corner of the blogosphere, where I noticed your little spot concerning Demonbusters.com . I'm NOT being sarcastic here, when I say thank you for giving me this link. You obviously didnt' think much of it, but the Bible itself says that the Word is so powerful that even when non-believers quote it, or reference it, good things will happen.. (not always to those who referenced it, snickering, however.. :))
Seriously, this is a part of the deeper, more serious side of a strong Christian walk, and, frankly, it kinda makes some *Christians* uneasy.. so your response isn't unexpected, though I'm praying you'll take a closer look at Jesus Himself, rather than simply stop at a portion of His teachings.
I'd be interested in knowing just how you came to find this site.. did someone email it to you, or did you just happen upon it on your own? Just curious, mind you.
Anyhow, a sincere thanks again for telling us about this site. I can almost picture you just now, scratching your head in befuddlement, seriously wondering about me. Do I think I have demons? Let's just say anything that helps my walk with Jesus get closer to Him, and His heart of perfect love is a good thing.. and *I* know I'm struggling against more than my own occasional bad mood.. and besides, there were quite a few helpful links on that site!
Feel free to e-chat if you've got the inclination. My responses may be delayed due to, well, *life*, but you won't be ignored, okay?
Oh yes.. you're both now on my prayer list.
*wide grin*
Take care, over there,
Bill
*"Very funny, Scotty. Now beam up my clothes too"*
