I found this nice update on Alfa's return to the US. The good news:

• They're still talking about returning. It was beginning to look like it would be one of those "we'll do it next year, ok the year after that, ok the year after that, ok maybe never" kind of things.
• They're going to try and set up their own dealers, or dealers who already work with Italian cars (Maserati, Ferrari).
• They're bringing a more complete line of cars over. At the end in 1995 Alfa was only bringing one model over, the 164 sports sedan.

The bad news:

• They're not coming over until 2007.
• They're probably going to be expensive.

Still, some progress is better than no progress at all!
