What Republicans still don't realize "it is still The economy, Stupid!" My retirement fund is down by 1/3 since Bush took office. I have no idea when or if I will be able to retire.

It's all his fault that people woke up and realized that putting all their eggs in the dot-com basket was a really BAD idea and yanked their money out of the unrealistically bloated market pulling everything else down with it.
Let's go back to the days when Clinton turned a blind eye to corporate shenanigans like Enron and Worldcom.

It's all politics and timing.
If you can't afford to play in the market, then get out.
That was the best advice someone gave me back before I put money in it.
I'm not down that much BTW.
