Pig Out!

A simple game sort of like rolling dice, but hey, it mentions razorbacks! Pig Out!

This is one of my favorite games! I may have even mentioned it in a post at some point. God only knows where.....I wouldn't be able to find it even if I wanted to.

Best played in a mountain cabin, snow falling, New Year's Eve, drunk, with two great friends, and one Robby Rist lookalike klingon. Good times.

Try to find the pig out game at Spencer's. They use to have it there.

Update: There is a version of the Pig Out game called Pass the Pigs here. http://www.centralconnector.com/games/passthepigs.html

Find the game here...it's called "pass the pigs" instead of pig out but it's the same game I learned to play as a kid.

The game is manufactured and distributed by Winning-Moves and is marketed under the name "Pass the Pigs". It came out in 1977 as "Pigmania". The copyright and registered trademark are owned by Dave Moffatt Enterprises of which I am a partner.

"Pig Out" is one of the positions a player can throw using the two little pigs. The game was never offically called "Pig Out". The term was derived from the original rules of "Pigmania" and "Pass the Pigs".

The game can be purchased at Toys R US, Amazon.com and other internet sites under the name of "Pass the Pigs". Hope this helps. Keep those pigs rolling.

Pigmania should still be called pigmania, and the rules whould be changed back to the original rules and should come with the funny little story about people throwing live pigs. and the trotter, oinker and Impossible should be changed back to what they originally were, hoofer, makin' bacon and piggyback..
I have found over the years that large companies get ahold of things and screw them up everytime.
I do not know why the changes took place, but I am sure that makin' bacon probably offended some overly touchy fruitcake cuz it was a sexual reference.

Bought my game from the man himself, Dave Moffatt, at his Old House Restaurant in Bakersfield, California long, long ago. I treasure it - have had such fun through the years with those pigs, though the Pig Pen and Pig Pad are long gone. Once a friend, playing for the first time, rolled a double leaning jowler and had no idea why I went berserk! Their dear pink skins are a little crazed with age now, but, hey, that makes them all the more precious, right? They still know how to make the moves. Would like to find more of the original games but I guess I've waited too long. Play on, Pigs, play on!!
