To a network admin, a DOS boot floppy is sort of like the windsheild wiper on a car... you don't need it often, but when you do you need it now. Of course, Micro$oft in its infinite wisdom has worked it so you can't get new versions of Windows to create boot floppies. This is something Jeff and I have been wondering about for years. Now I've found a much better answer than to keep a win95 box chugging along in the corner somewhere:
bootdisk.com. Found it over at transterrestrial musings.
How about more of your original stuff and less links to other sites!

Posted by: Pat on August 5, 2002 12:00 PMOf course, right next to that DOS boot floppy you keep a copy of Tom's Root and Boot Disk for when you really bugger things, up, right?
