Gotta Love That Hubble

CNBC has much better quality pics of this than the Post did this morning. This thing cost a zillion bucks, but I'd rather spend money for this than to keep Farmer Ted's billion dollar cotton farm in the black.

Always remember the universe is bigger than you think it is.

Those pictures from Hubble just take my breath away. Maybe we can pursuade Joe to get some copies for his company and offer the for sale.. Where did that Intergalatic essay come from. I don't remember reading it before.

Hello Scott and Ellen,
As a Carl Sagan fan, I always enjoy reading your thoughts on the Cosmos, and of course, we Humans. You have a magnificent ability to state an opinion strongly, without dismissing others. Bravo Young Man, you've figured it out, One World, One People.
While making the film " Contact ", which of course Mr. Sagan wrote, the Actors said, no matter what question we would ask him, he would Never make one feel as though it were a stupid question, on the contrary he would congratulate the Actor for asking such a "good" question.
He was a genius, in Astrophysics, understanding our Universe in a way that only a handful of people are capable of. Joe

Thanks! Sagan wrote the book, but I'm not sure how involved he was in the movie. He was pretty sick at that point I think. Sagan was proof positive that pot doesn't always rot your brain!

I've got the film on DVD, but haven't watched it yet. On my to-do list for this weekend.
