Ever wanted to know what it's like to rescue a cat? Or what a rescue group does?
I can tell you it's just not dumping 20 pounds of cat food outside and hoping for the best.
Please check out this link! It has made its permanent debut on this site! :) Alliance for Stray Animals and People
Joanna Harkin runs this organization first hand and she is totally awsome. I've never seen a more dedicated person to cats in my life. Please leave a donation!!!! Joanna pays for most of the cat care out of her own pocket.
BTW...did you know donations make the puuurfect gift for that someone you NEVER know what to get?
If you want to come back and hit this link again, check out the side recomendations. It will remain permanent on this site.
To anyone out there who's thinking of adopting a cat, remember this; if you think you don't have enough time, you're wrong. All you need to give is a cuddle on the way out, a cuddle on the way in and a few minutes lap time when it's convenient. If you think you don't have enogugh room, you're wrong. All you need is two bowls, and a little litter tray in a corner (quickly scooped morning and evening). You may think that by adopting a cat, it won't make a difference, especially if you can take only one. But, to that little life, you're the difference between life and death, you're the bee's knees, the cherry on top of the cake. There's room in everyone's heart for a little kitty. As someone who started out with two adoptees, and now has five, I should know. Happiness is a purring kitty!
